This is for Wendy. She made me think of this song today. For the rest of you, this is one of my very favorite all time songs. I used to listen to it all the time as a child, and even found a copy of a Seals and Crofts album as an adult and wore this track out. It makes me cry – but in a good way – every time I hear this song.
What song is your favorite that pulls at your heart strings any time you hear it?
That was so beautiful! I forgot about this song, thank you so much for posting this wonderful video! It was lovely. And I adored all those little hummingbirds around the person’s hands at the end. How sweet they are. And the song is so perfect, so hummingbird-like.
For me, the song that tugs at my heart strings and actually makes me cry is House At Pooh Corner by Loggins & Messina. When I hear them sing “…But today I have wandered much further than I should, and I can’t seem to find my way back to the wood…” I start sobbing.

That’s a hard one.. I love music so I have songs playing in my head all the time.. btw. I love hummingbirds thanks. To be more specific.. anything from Alanis Morisette, the Glen Hansard, Jill Scott, and Sinead Oconnor’s “The Healing Room”.:D
Cici – there’s an Alanis Morisette song that I’ve always loved, and now I can’t remember the name of it. Hmm. I’ll have to look it up. The words were especially meaningful to me as I was getting divorced this last time.
I’d totally forgotten that song. It was so nice to hear again and the hummingbirds were so beautiful I have a hummingbird this summer at my hummingbird feeder. I’ve seen him a couple of times. I am so on this meme. But I am having a terrible time picking a song. I think of one and then I remember another and I want to post about 100 of them. So it may take me a day or two to decide.
