My Daily Inspiration

I have the following quote on an index card right next to this picture of my grandson. I look at it several times a day.
It is better to take many small steps in the right direction than to make a giant leap only to stumble backward.
“To infinity and beyond”
The innocence of a child reminds me that nothing is impossible.

Oh, how I wish my son would read and actually understand that quote.
“It is better to take many small steps in the right direction than to make a giant leap only to stumble backward.”
He takes a stumble backward every time he moves lately and there’s nothing I can do but watch.
Joan, he will find his way eventually. I’m convinced that all our children do – just in their own time. Perhaps he can relate to Buzz Lightyear?
A GREAT quote! In fact, I was telling myself a variation of that when I moved a bunch of dirt into my new garden area. “just keep moving, just a little dirt in a small load will be easier than stopping now…” etc.
cute kiddo!
I love that photo!
To infinite and beyond, Captain Cutie!
Hey, did you see the episode of Boston Legal where two of the lawyers wore the same Buzz Lightyear costume and got into a big fight over it?
@CuriousC – I got that quote at a Weight Watchers meeting. Supposedly it is an ancient proverb, but whatever… I like it.
@Moonbeam – isn’t he just the cutest?
@Wendy – I didn’t see that episode of Boston Legal. I used to watch that show a long time ago, but got distracted by other shows on at the same time. Now I can’t remember which ones distracted me. LOL.
