Bragging Rights

September 16, 2007

My little six year old granddaughter can not only crochet, but she can knit too. How fun is that?

We were all at my daughter’s house this afternoon watching the Seahawks play football and Elise was knitting right along with the rest of us. Out of five women there, three of us had some sort of needle and yarn in our hands.

Hey, I have my own little knitting circle already. And she really does do a good job. She has good focus and pays attention. Simple stitches at first, but that’s how it starts.

Next up, she learns to sew. 🙂

So totally cute! Get those photos, she’ll love them when she’s older! Maybe get a photo of the 3 of you, your knitting circle!

Oh my goodness, and her stitches look so neat and even! (And small!) She is good with her hands. A future sewer too?

Claire ~ she is a beautiful little girl! And it is good to get them hooked young on needlecrafts. I started at 11 and haven’t stopped since! 🙂
